Kohl’s online recognition program hits mega milestone
There are a million different ways to tell someone they did a great job. Kohl’s associates have taken recognition to a whole new level, sharing one million digital recognitions through the company’s Recognizing Greatness system.
Recognition and appreciation are part of our culture at Kohl’s, and we have a goal of being famous for engaging, developing and recognizing great teams. Our Recognizing Greatness system is just one way we are achieving this.
Whether highlighting the success of a project, giving a team member credit for a challenging assignment or telling someone they are “Dino-Mite”, a little recognition goes a long way. Launched in 2015, the online system allows any associate in the company to recognize another associate for a job well done. In just over two years, Kohl’s associates have sent more than a million virtual high-fives to each other.
Associates across the company are able to see the recognitions come to life on video screens located in stores, corporate headquarters, credit facilities and distribution centers. It’s a fun way to celebrate the great things associates around the country are doing.
