To provide more opportunities for nonprofits to receive support and allow us to extend our reach, we also offer giving programs at various points during the year, both locally and nationally.
Kohl’s Cares Hometown Giving Program allows us to broaden our support of impactful organizations that make a difference in Milwaukee and Waukesha communities, expanding upon traditional hometown partnerships. Since its launch in 2017, the program has donated more than $3 million to more than 100 nonprofit organizations in the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas. The Kohl's Cares National Giveback Initiative is the company's largest giving program honoring our commitment to family health and wellness. Kohl's associates nationwide nominate nonprofits in their communities to apply for a grant funded through Kohl's Cares Goods for Good™. In total, we have donated more than $29 million to nonprofits through this giving program since 2018. The year-round grant opportunity is open to nonprofits nationwide with a focus on family health and wellness and an annual revenue of $250,000. During select moments throughout the year, nonprofits are invited to apply to receive a Kohl's Cares Shopping Grant, which is redeemable in-store at their local Kohl's. These grants offer nonprofits the opportunity to shop for products that directly support their mission.
