Discover @ Kohl’s Features Several Back to School Brands that Give Back

Kohl’s new in-store and online feature, Discover @ Kohl’s, curates emerging, established, and diverse-owned brands that are new to Kohl’s

When shopping for back to school items, kids and teens are usually on the hunt for unique products that spark joy and conversation among friends and classmates. Through Kohl’s new experience, Discover @ Kohl’s, the company has partnered with unique and exciting brands for back to school that customers will not only love for its fashion and functionality, but will also feel good about buying.

This season’s Back to School Discover @ Kohl’s Zone features four new brands that all incorporate a give-back purpose or are woman-founded:

  • Ivory Ella: Ivory Ella was born from a passionate desire to make a difference in the world with good clothes for a good cause. The company features apparel and accessories like tops, sweaters, hoodies, shorts and tote bags, and donates 10% of Ivory Ella’s net profits to Save the Elephants and other charitable causes.

  • Yoobi: From stationary to DIY arts + crafts, Yoobi sparks creativity for all. For every item a customer buys, Yoobi will donate an item to a U.S. child in need. Since its launch in 2014, Yoobi has positively impacted over 5 million kids.

  • Teleties: An all-in-one hair tie that doubles as a stylish stackable bracelet, Teleties are functional, fashionable and less damaging to hair. With each purchase, a donation from Teleties  is made to FORCE, a non-profit organization that improves the lives of those affected by hereditary cancers.

  • Packed Party: Woman-founded brand, Packed Party, is on a mission to make the world a little brighter by designing and creating products that spark conversation, celebration and joy. The brand features fun back to school products like backpacks, lunchboxes, pencil cases, clipboards and personalized accessories.

“Yoobi was born with a vision to one day provide all kids in need with the tools they need to learn and be creative. Not only do we want to offer customers fun and unique school products that bring excitement to the classroom, but we want to also help create better access to the millions of kids across America who do not have fundamental school supplies to learn and be successful,” said Yoobi founder Ido Leffler. “Through our new partnership with Kohl’s, we are excited to be expanding our one-of-a-kind back to school products to millions more customers nationwide, and ultimately be able to help alleviate the burden on teachers and school districts by donating more school supplies to those in need.”

Discover @ Kohl’s is a new feature that curates dozens of emerging, established, and diverse-owned brands that are new to Kohl’s, into different seasonal areas throughout the store in 600 Sephora at Kohl’s locations, and highlighted online on Kohls.com. From July through October, Discover @ Kohl’s areas will include Back to School, Get Outside, Fall Family Fun, and For Women By Women, a collection of female-founded activewear. Discover @ Kohl’s areas will be positioned throughout the store, and will also maintain a consistent presence by Kohl’s Amazon Returns, which will feature a rotating assortment of gifts that give back.
