Kohl's and Sephora Bring Sephora@Kohl’s to Campus
Last month, as Sorority Recruitment Week took over college campuses nationwide, Kohl’s partnered with Sephora to launch an interactive Sephora at Kohl’s “Beauty Corner” experience at three major universities. The on-campus pop-ups at the University of Tennessee, University of Georgia, and University of Florida celebrated and supported students going through the sorority recruitment process.
“Rush Week sparks a dynamic social conversation each year, and we saw an opportunity to meet Gen Z where they’re already engaging,“ said Christie Raymond, Kohl’s chief marketing officer. “By bringing Sephora at Kohl’s directly to campus with the Beauty Corner experience, we’re connecting with students where they live and socialize, turning a cultural moment into an immersive, shareable Sephora at Kohl’s experience.”
Across all three campuses, the Sephora at Kohl’s “Beauty Corner” delivered a quick refresh between events to help students feel confident. Thousands of students stopped by for makeup and hair touch-ups, product freebies from some of Sephora’s most-loved brands, postcards of encouragement to share with friends, and exclusive Sephora at Kohl’s discounts to stock up on back-to-school essentials.
To extend the excitement beyond campus, Kohl’s and Sephora teamed up with relevant creators and community voices. Influencers, sorority potential new members, and alumnae shared content from the on-campus experience, tips and tricks, and product favorites, spotlighting Sephora at Kohl’s as their go-to beauty destination.
