Kohl’s and Vanessa Hudgens Give a Los Angeles School a Stylish Surprise

Little did they know - Vanessa Hudgens and Kohl’s Associates in Action volunteers were waiting to surprise students with nearly 2,000 pairs of new Nike shoes, enough to give the entire student body a new pair of sneakers for the year ahead!

And because we learned from AdoptAClassroom.org that more than 90% of teachers spend an average of $600 of their own money on classroom essentials throughout the year, we gave all 83 teachers a $600 AdoptAClassroom.org gift card to fund everything they need to make it a successful year for their students.

It’s all part of our greater commitment to AdoptAClassroom.org, in which Kohl's will donate a minimum of $250,000 and up to $1 million to the organization during this back-to-school season.
