Kohl’s Named One of Seramount’s 2022 100 Best Companies
Kohl’s is proud to be recognized as one of Seramount’s 2022 100 Best Companies for the second consecutive year. The 100 Best Companies list, representing almost four million employees in the United States, recognizes companies that continue to set the standard by providing inclusive benefits for families, including paid gender-neutral parental leave, phase-back programs, childcare advancement programs, workplace flexibility, bereavement leave after miscarriages, reimbursement for fertility expenses, and increased mental health benefits for employees.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as 100 Best Company by Seramount for the second consecutive year,” said Marc Chini, Kohl’s chief people officer. “Over the last several years our associates have experienced unprecedented challenges and new ways of working. Knowing this, Kohl’s has worked hard to embrace all of our people for exactly who they are — and help improve the physical and emotional well-being of their families. We are continuously looking for ways to improve our benefits and pledge to keep working on behalf of every member of Kohl’s.”
Be Well at Kohl’s
At Kohl’s, all associates, as well as their family members, are encouraged to participate in well-being activities throughout the year. We provide a wide range of programs and resources, such as our Healthy Rewards and Wellness Centers, to help associates and their families take preventative measures and save money in the event of unexpected medical expenses.
Our support doesn’t stop there. Along with physical well being, we understand mental health is also a critical component of total well-being. To help foster our total well-being, we’ve elevated our workplace culture to better support our associates’ mental well-being journeys through Be Well at Kohl’s. This initiative provides resources, benefits, offerings and more for associates and their families that focus on mental well-being and health, including:
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) — Our EAP offers confidential counseling to address mental and emotional concerns, a mental health toolkit and more.
Support Groups — We offer support groups for associates, led by associates, to connect with others going through similar life situations. Examples include Healing Together, a group that focuses on infertility and pregnancy loss. We also offer parenting groups for adoption and fostering and parents of children with special needs.
Leveraging National Partnerships — We are a member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness’ (NAMI) StigmaFree Company initiative. This unique program identifies and assists companies with a culture of openness, acceptance and understanding about employees’ overall health and well-being.
Counseling Coverage — Our medical coverage includes in-person or virtual counseling services.
Business Resource Groups — Our Business Resource Groups share information on mental health resources that meet the specific needs of our diverse workforce.
We’re proud of the ways we contribute to our associates’ total well-being year-round because when they’re at their best, we are all at our best. To learn more about Kohl’s benefits, view Kohl’s 2021 ESG Report.
