In recognition and celebration of Women's History Month, Kohl’s is continuing to celebrate the impacts and achievements of the women in our lives. By seeing female representation in all walks of life, from heads of household to heads of business, we're closing the gender inequality gap, and paving the way for the next generation of women leaders.

#BreakTheBias: Kohl’s Women in Leadership

At Kohl’s, we value female representation and are committed to fostering a culture that supports the advancement of women. Our Chief Executive Officer, Michelle Gass, and Chief Financial Officer, Jill Timm, are the rare 1% example of a female CEO-CFO pairing at a Fortune 500 company.

This Women’s History Month, Michelle Gass, Jill Timm, as well as, Michelle Banks, our Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, and Vivien Yeung, our Chief Strategy Officer, shared more about their diverse experiences and perspectives. Kohl’s Donates to The Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Honor of Women’s History Month

In honor of Women’s History Month, Kohl's is excited to expand its support of Boys & Girls Clubs of America through an investment of $100,000 in the SMART girls program, which helps female Club members maintain healthy lifestyles, build positive relationships, understand the influence of social media and navigate adolescence.

The SMART Girls program, which reaches and serves nearly 90,000 Club members annually, is a small-group health, fitness, education and self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the developmental needs of girls ages 8 to 18. This donation is one action Kohl’s is taking to empower females and support the needs of diverse communities.

In 2019, Kohl’s announced a national partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to develop and implement critical programming aimed at improving the physical and emotional well-being of children and families. Throughout our history, Kohl’s and Kohl’s Cares have donated nearly $815 million to nonprofits across the country, including a total of $37 million in 2020 to support family health and wellness.
