Kohl’s plans to support a seamless omnichannel experience for our customers
The holidays are just around the corner and, as always, Kohl’s is looking to staff our stores with talented associates to help us deliver the best-in-class shopping experience Kohl’s is known for.
As an omnichannel retailer delivering an exceptional experience to customers in our stores and online, we take steps year-round to ensure we are well-positioned for the holiday season. From investing in technology that enables our associates to work faster and more efficiently, to hiring hundreds of new associates for our fifth e-commerce fulfillment center which opened in August, we are ready to serve our customers however they choose to shop Kohl’s - in our stores, online, or on a mobile device - this holiday season.
We are giving our current associates priority when scheduling during the holiday, offering the opportunity to add additional hours during the season for those who want them. This year many associates have opted to do just that. And, while hiring will vary by location, we also forecast hiring seasonal associates at a similar level as we have in recent years.
Seasonal positions are available now at our more than 1,100 stores, as well as distribution and e-commerce fulfillment centers across the country. Kohl’s offers competitive wages, flexible hours, an immediate 15% discount, and the opportunity for seasonal associates to be considered for open positions after the holidays. In fact, year-over-year we have a number of associates who join the team and love their time at Kohl’s so much so that they stay on with us permanently. Last year, nearly 14,000 seasonal associates stayed on to continue their career at Kohl’s.
Additionally, for the first time ever, Kohl’s will host a seasonal hiring day at more than 200 locations across the country. Interested candidates can stop by participating Kohl’s stores on Saturday, October 7 for the opportunity to interview and potentially receive a seasonal job offer that day.
