Customers at Kohl’s Menomonee Falls, Wis. Store Are Loving Amazon Returns

Kohl’s announced in July the nationwide roll out of Amazon Returns at Kohl’s to our more than 1,100 stores nationwide.

We sat down with Stefanie Escobedo, Kohl’s Menomonee Falls, Wis. store manager, to find out what she’s hearing from customers at her store as well as tips and tricks for first time users of Amazon Returns.

Q: When did your store in Menomonee Falls, Wis. begin offering Amazon Returns?
Stefanie: The Kohl’s store in Menomonee Falls has offered Amazon Returns since the pilot began in Southeastern Wisconsin last year. It was really exciting for our store to have been part of the pilot phase of the program, and to now see it roll out to customers at all of Kohl’s stores across the country. I’m proud of our associates for jumping in to bring something new to life for our customers that had never been done before.

Q: What have customers at your store said about Amazon Returns? 
Stefanie:
The customer response at the Menomonee Falls store has been fantastic! Many customers are shocked at how fast their return is completed. I often hear customers ask, “Is that really it?” It’s fun for our associates to be able to provide customers with such a convenient service that makes their day a little easier. On top of it all, I love that we are able to give customers a Kohl’s coupon to stay and shop our store. Many customers comment that everyone should be using Amazon Returns at Kohl’s!

Q: What do you wish customers knew about Amazon Returns at Kohl’s before trying it out?
Stefanie: The number one thing I would tell people is to initiate their return online with Amazon before going to their local Kohl’s. This ensures that the items are eligible to be returned and that the customer has their QR code from Amazon ready to go when they reach the customer service desk. This ultimately helps the returns process go even faster. Of course, our Kohl’s customer service associates are very knowledgeable on the process and always happy to help if customers are making a return for the first time.

Q: What do you love most about Amazon Returns at Kohl’s?
Stefanie: It’s wonderful when someone enters our store who is new to Kohl’s. The whole process is so easy for them, and my team works to make sure that they have a great experience with us. I hope every single person making a return becomes a regular Kohl’s customer as well. Amazon Returns really aligns with our commitment to customer service and providing ease and convenience.
