Kohl’s stores around the country opened their doors on Thanksgiving evening to holiday shoppers eager to officially kick off Black Friday shopping at Kohl’s. In addition, we saw thousands of visits per minute on Kohls.com on Thanksgiving.
Here’s a look at a few of the early highlights from our Black Friday event:
- Mobile accounted for approximately 75% of online traffic on Thanksgiving
- Our stores fulfilled more than 30% of online demand on Thanksgiving
- Customers were drawn to our key doorbuster items including gaming systems like Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, healthy and convenient cooking electrics like the Ninja Foodi, and smart home products from Google and Amazon, among others
- In addition to electronics, kitchen electrics and smart home, some of the most popular categories with customers also included utility bedding, active, licensed entertainment and beauty
