Kohl's Names Anne Horter Director of Stores
Kohl's announced the appointment of Anne Horter to the position of EVP, Director of Stores. Horter will oversee Kohl's 1,100+ stores and the store operations & experience team. She will support the company's strategic focus on resetting the foundation and paving a long-term path to growth.

With more than 30 years of retail leadership experience, Horter started her career at Target, where she held progressive positions for 10 years. She joined Kohl's as a Regional Manager in 2002, and then spent 10 years as a SVP, Territory Manager for the Midwest and West territories, before taking her most recent role as EVP, Store Operations and Experience.
Horter will report to a Chief Operating Officer (COO). The COO is a newly announced position that will report directly to Kohl's CEO, Michael Bender. A comprehensive search is currently underway for this role. The COO will oversee Kohl's enterprise operations and bring key teams – including Stores, Logistics, Procurement, and Loss Prevention – together under one leader.
