Associates volunteer expertise to create home-made head wraps for cancer patients.

We don’t want to brag, but we have incredible talent here at Kohl’s. Take our product development team for example. Each day they are laser-focused on what our customers want and work diligently to bring our amazing products to life. As if that’s not enough, the team embarked on a new project this year – volunteering their time for a charitable cause with the American Cancer Society, a long-standing community partner of Kohl’s. The team is donating their time and talent, and drawing on their expertise to give back by creating hand-made head wraps and caps for women, men and children battling cancer.

From concept to design and ultimately production, these passionate associates have poured their hearts into this volunteer project to benefit the American Cancer Society. Extreme care and attention to detail have gone into the design process to ensure comfort and functionality, while still allowing each recipient’s personal style to shine bright. From dinosaur patterns for boys to vibrant colors and on-trend patterns for women, each head wrap will be home-made by Kohl’s volunteers and distributed by the American Cancer Society to patients free of charge. The goal is to donate more than 800 head wraps to those in need and hopefully provide a moment of joy.
