One of the best parts of my job is getting to know our amazing and talented Kohl’s associates. I often ask them how they got their start at Kohl’s, and I love knowing that many of our associates start as seasonal employees -– and turn that opportunity into a career.
Eighty-percent of Americans live within 15 miles of a Kohl’s store, so chances are you know someone who works at Kohl’s and has felt the impact that our company has on its people, customers, and communities. For Deydamia, Kohl’s has not just been a job – but a way to support her family in ways she always dreamed of. At 18, Deydamia started as a seasonal employee in November 2010, later became a supervisor, and is now the store manager at Kohl’s in San Leandro, California.
Chanda utilized The Guild Program which provides 100% tuition assistance on select programs, while Josiah started in human resources and worked his way up the ranks to further his career.
