But what makes this brand so different from the rest? k/lab is data-informed and trend driven, meaning each collection is refreshed on a weekly basis, allowing Kohl’s to move with new trends and emerging ideas.
The need for speed
As part of Kohl’s Greatness Agenda, we’ve set out to revolutionize our model for speed across women’s and juniors. Shrinking our timeline from concept to delivery allows us to be more relevant to trends, test more effectively and chase great opportunities.
k/lab is a prime example of this – we’re thinking like a start-up and working like a lab, testing, evaluating and implementing, to deliver a nimble and fresh approach to fashion. We enlisted a unique team that works outside of Kohl’s existing processes, tracking data, developing algorithms and better understanding our customers’ behaviors.
