Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month (Tuesday, Sept. 15, through Thursday, Oct. 15), Kohl’s and the Hispanic y Latino Business Resource Group (BRG) are celebrating the language, culture and diverse heritage of the Hispanic community.
This year, Kohl’s Hispanic y Latino BRG members from across the country are finding ways to celebrate together while apart. Each week of Hispanic Heritage Month corresponds with a specific theme and will feature virtual events and activities for associates to engage in. Associates are encouraged to share the ways they are celebrating each week on their social channels using hashtags like #TodosSomosKohls and #LifeAtKohls. Weekly themes throughout the month include Mi Gente, Mi Comida, Mi Musica, and Mis Colores.
- Mi Gente: Celebrate our community of people: My family, my friends, my coworkers.
- Mi Comida: Share recipes and celebrate food as an important part of cultural identity.
- Mi Musica: Highlight and share the various styles of Latin music and its cultural influence.
- Mis Colores: Share colors that represent the diverse heritages and cultures within the Hispanic community.
In addition, Kohl’s launched a new collection of t-shirts in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, created by Kohl’s designers and Hispanic y Latino BRG members. Click here to check out some of the designs and learn more about the collection.
