Kohl’s has developed several concepts for various markets to ensure stores are conveniently located where customers live and work. These include traditional 87K stores, smaller 64K and 55K formats, and the new 35K prototype for rural and dense-urban markets. Kohl’s has also developed a discount concept called Off/Aisle with one store located in Cherry Hill, NJ and two in the Milwaukee market. In addition, Kohl’s has partnered with Fila to develop an outlet store concept, which is now open at twelve Simon and Tanger outlet centers.
